Bonjour, ciao, hola, hi! I’m Verónica, and I’m a Spaniard-American living in Florence, Italy. I started The Word on Record as I saw a missing piece in many company’s communication plan - connecting on a human level.

I should maybe start off by saying that since I was three years old, I’ve loved writing (or attempting to). By the time I was 14, I was set on being a journalist. But when I graduated from university, I ended up working with multiple startup companies in finding their story and doing their PR. I loved helping them plan out a strategy in how to connect with journalists and an audience through their story.

Here’s the thing… storytelling is the foundation of connecting at any level. And I believe that businesses and entrepreneurs can make a difference through their content and their story.
